The Govt. of AP (Department of Grama Volunteers/Ward Volunteers & Village Secretariats/Ward Secretariats) vide G.O.Ms.No.01, dated 29.05.2020 introduced a special scheme “Jagananna Thodu” to support Petty Traders (Chiruvyaparulu) and people engaged in traditional handicrafts etc., who are struggling with high interest rates being charged by private money lenders and to channelize into formal institutional finance to enable them to get access to liberalized finance at a lower rate of interest.
