On the advent of natural calamities in the form of pestilence, drought, floods etc., the agricultural production of the farmer gets hit and there arises the need for providing timely stabilisation arrangements for the agricultural credit. The Bank supports Credit Stabilisation by converting, rephasing and postponing agricultural loans issued earlier, into term loans repayable in a longer span, while at the same time providing fresh finance to undertake production activity subsequent to the advent of natural calamity.
